CC GROOMING WAIVER 

 Please review our policies all appointments will be directed to this link and required to agree to all terms and policies:

Emergencies: In the event of an emergency, I authorize this establishment to immediately seek professional veterinary attention for my pet (at my expense). I understand that all attempts will be made to contact me in the event of an emergency.

Coat Condition: I understand that this establishment puts my pet’s comfort above all else. In the event that my pet’s coat is matted, I understand that the groomer may have to shave the matts out rather than perform a painful dematting procedure. I also understand that if my pet is severely matted, that there is an increased risk for clipper burn or cuts to occur. I understand that all attempts will be made to prevent this, however in many extreme matt conditions, it is unavoidable. I also understand that matted pets take additional time to groom so there will be an additional fee added onto the regular grooming price if my pet’s coat is matted.

Health: I understand that grooming can be stressful to some pets and I will inform the groomer if my pet has any heart conditions or any stress related issues prior to grooming. I also understand that it is necessary to have my pet up to date on all vaccinations prior to every grooming. I acknowledge that my groomer is also veterinary trained and I agree to seek veterinary care upon my groomers direction if any health changes are noticed during grooming. I understand that sometimes underline health conditions or age can affect my pet during grooming and sometimes cannot be seen I agree Colorful canines and my groomer are not responsible for any preexisting medical conditions or the aggravation of those conditions such as, but not limited to, heart disease, arthritis, obesity, IVDD, cruciate tears, brachycephalic syndrome, infections, etc. If for any reason you feel your pet would benefit from limited time in the salon let us know and we will do our best. 

Cancellation/Late Policy: I understand that if I need to change my appointment time or cancel it, that I must give at least a 24 hour notice so that the appointment time can be made available to another client who is on the waiting list. If 2 appointments are missed without giving adequate notice, clients may then be required to pre-pay prior to scheduling any future appointments. Missed appointments will be charged their appointment total to be paid prior to next booking being made. If you’re more than 15 minutes past your appointment time you may lose your appointment slot and be considered a no show cancellation. 

No Restraints Grooming vs Acceptance Training: I understand that this grooming is free of restraints, other than being held by another person, this means my pet should be friendly and comfortable being touched. Aggressive animals not permitted and will be refused or directed to training prior to acceptance. Animals that do not tolerate grooming well will be denied from no restraint grooming and required to make a new appointment with Grooming Acceptance or be charged the grooming acceptance fee if able to start at current appointment. // Acceptance Training is working toward the goal of No Restraints Acceptance, the initial training may not be no restraints for both groomer and pet safety. If muzzling is required for training, dog will be trained for muzzle acceptance during first 1-2 sessions. The initial Grooming Acceptance Training appointment is $125 plus tax, roomie may not be done at this initial appointment if animal is overly stressed. Homework will be assigned in GAT, I agree to complete any and all required homework as directed. I understand if I do not follow my trainers/groomers instruction my pet may not graduate from GAT to regular grooming and may be removed from the program.
